Where does this new negativity against Hungary in the last 2 weeks come from? Think I saw a few in TAN (not only from you so nothing personal).
I know their president is controversial but i don’t think it’s one of the worst countries in Europe.
It is when it comes to democracy if you ignore Turkey and Belarus. Orban has bereaved state institutions of power and democracy is i real danger in Hungary. Is Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Belarus worse ? Yes, well, but no one with real knowledge would call these anything but autocracies or at best, state directed semi democracy (in Russia).
And since Hungary is located in Central Europe and not at the rim of Europe, more is expected of it than, say, Turkey or Russia.

"UEFA stopped checking the captain’s armband worn by @Manuel_Neuer on Sunday evening by notifying the DFB. In the letter, the rainbow band is rated as a symbol of the team for diversity and thus for a “good cause”.
A win for everyone!!! It couldn’t be more embarrassing , they really should’ve expected the outcry.
