Spain (will play Croatia on Monday) also move to the left side of the bracket with Italy and Belgium.
The winner of Group F will also be among them so it’s probably better to finish second.

Is there any result tonight that will see France avoid Italy on the path to the final? I made a call a week before the tourney with a work colleague that they would meet eachother in the final with France winning but it seems every path sees them face each other in the quarters or semis.

Fucksake. France would have needed to come second in the group to fall on the opposite side of Italy.
Shocking disparity between the two paths to the final.
Shame on England/Germany if the winner of that doesn’t get to the final in that lower part of the draw.
The winner of that game plays against the winner of Netherlands/Czech Rep.
I don’t trust the Dutch this time, too idealistic without enough quality to carry it. I expect England/Germany both to beat them if they meet.

This would be the most German thing ever to stink their way through the group, end up on the easy side of the draw, coast to the final and then play 1 good game to win the bastard.
