Ex-player: Rhian BREWSTER

£18 million plus £5.5 million in add-ons.

So, Brewster basically pays the fee for Thiago’s acquisition. A good youngster who needs first team football which he can’t get with us, for a world-class player who instantly reinforces our first team. I think that I can live with that. (I know, wages are at another level.)

Good luck, Rhian, all the best!

He’ll always have Madrid and the parade.

No Liverpool player has gone on loan and then made it here.

My posting history will show I am a big fan of Chris Wilder and his style, and I am also a believer of Rhian Brewster. This just gives me even more reason to root for Blades and see them pull out of this early season funk and get it going in the right direction. It’s a good fit for all involved.

Big fan of Rhian Brewster and think he’ll go on to score plenty of goals if he remains fit. Also expect him to go on and get several caps for England too.

Wasn’t quite in the right place in his development for us or with the skillsets that would see him thrive here but he’s a very decent player, brilliant finisher and he’ll do well as a traditional no.9 like Andrew Cole or Jermaine Defoe. Sheffield United a good fit for him for the next couple of years.

Good luck Rhian.

It’s the right decision for everyone, but at the same time I still have some regrets.

FPL already updated him as a Sheffield Utd player. He still likes the Reds shirt tho :+1:t2:

Ibe and Spearing are perhaps the only two, they sort of made it here.

Which perhaps illustrates your point even better

Good move for him, awkward situation that he needs playing time to develop but he will not get that much here and having said that, to get this amount for him plus the 3 year buy back and 15% sell on is brilliant business. Right for the club and right for the player, that is the difference between how we balance the club as a business and a sporting body versus some other elite clubs out there.

Depends how far back you want to go, but Danny Murphy?

Good shout, but I am disqualifying it. Was that not a purchase, loan back deal? Like Keita?

I’d like to loan back Murphy just so i could hold him down and hand him some dead arms and dead legs.

No, bought him and he joined straight away. We loaned him to Crewe in his second year with us.
