Couldn’t agree more with this. He has been decent for Bayern, but nothing really more than that.
I miss him a lot, but he is definitely declining and getting £35m for him was good business.
Still enjoyable as a Liverpool fan that he defeated ex-City Sane in a little impromptu dressing room MMA. YNWA, Sadio.

Getting him back for a season or two, given his recent actions, might make his exit precipitant and might be a quite smart piece of business.

Pffff where are the days that Edgar Davids challenged Robbie Keane after training to step outside Little that he know that Keane was a pretty good amateur boxer when he was young.
To make a long story short, one punch later and Davids was knocked out. The following day Davids walked into the dressing room and said “Morning Robbie” and that was the end of it …

Shame Robbie didn’t bring that when he was with us. Really felt like we were on the cusp of something big at the start of that season.
He could well see his contract terminated pending investigation.
Wouldn’t be against bringing him back for a season or 2 on a free, useful squad player who is still good enough to contribute 10-15 or so goals/assists a season.

They would be saving themselves €17m a year by sacking a player whose fallen out of favour.
No brainer for them really. He’s saved them the hassle of trying to find a buyer.
Don’t see Bayern selling him this summer and don’t see the logic behind us going back for him. He gets a suspension now, a fine, they move on and that’s it.
