Liverpool have won two trophies this season and Minamino was their top scorer in both competitions.
Apparently he was one of few players who didnāt receive a medal. Donāt know if true or notā¦
Klopp has asked for more medals 31 players took part in the competition for us but not all received medals yet.
It would be massively disrespectful for him not to receive a medal
Yeah he played 4 times for us in the FA Cup - if we have more medals than just the team for the final how does he not get one? Are we giving them to the background staff now? Surely medals go to players - Klopp, Pep, Mona et al donāt need them.
I havenāt read anything on this, but I think it is common for a delay in players getting medals as the FA cup does not give awards to the whole squad but a fixed number of players. The club will have ordered additional medals for the rest of the squad. It probably takes a few days for them to arrive.
Jurgen said in interview that the squads have been allowed to get bigger in number, but the medal allocation has remained without adjustmentsā¦
I donāt actually know of they can order more, Iāve heard that said before but based on Kloppās comments it sounds like they canāt get them.
Itās pretty embarrassing that the FA dont just ask the club how many medals they need. I bet they cost about Ā£20 each to make.
Canāt we just make our own?
Just let Taku have the Cup for the rest of the season.
Yeah Iām sure the club could say look what he did in those rounds here is couple of 100 quid send one on thanks.
The winning club receives a fixed number of medals that are given out on the day (I believe 40). There is a 20 man squad who are each guaranteed on and then it is up to the clubās discretion on who gets the remaining ones.
If there were 40 medals then Taki would have to have one having played four times in the cup?! Not really a fan of medals for the staff to be honest
I canāt see why they canāt make about 100 medals. Probably a fiver to make. Every staff and player who played a minute to get one.
This lad is brilliant isnāt he? Has gone completely under the radar, but is quietly morphing into a genuine goalscorer. His goal yesterday night was quite brilliant. Iāve also noticed that his physical frame is now a bit more solid, and he obviously benefits from it.
Taki is a genuine premier league player now in my book, and a brilliant further option to have in the squad.
His goal yesterday night was quite brilliant.
Ironic it was against Southampton
Iāve always said this, thereās a reason why we refused Southampton the option to buy. Long-term project.
Pushed off that centre back Salisu on two occasions yesterday who looks a strong lad. Looks to have settled in much better than he was looking and hopefully has more of a future here than previously thought.
Agreed with all above. Heās not getting sold this summer. Will play a more prominent role next year with 5 subs.
