According to the Swiss media, Shaq has no symptoms at all. Which makes one wonder if the test is accurate at all.

Quite easy to imagine a power cube being resistant to all sorts. I even bet he’s waterproof.

Premier League players supposedly train and play within their own ‘bubble’, so we’re told and yet Liverpool players have still caught the virus. Now we have players converging from all over the planet to join their national squads. Is that still a bubble? I think not. There’s bound to me many more players infected over the next two weeks.

Good point made on the Anfield Wrap this week about this.
The media and football authorities have done a great job of convincing everyone that football is back to normal. In reality, the players are playing in empty echoing stadiums (no artificial crowd noise for them) all their mates dropping with Covid.
We all need to acknowledge that this season, if indeed it goes any further, will be incredibly weird and freakish. Us getting done 7-2. Utd being smacked for six. Leicester putting 5 past City. Chelsea being three down to Brighton at half time. These feel less like aberrations and more like a season being played in abnormal circumstances.

Our bubble probably burst the moment the new signings came in. (travelling, media teams etc) Now we can only keep our fingers crossed that the others stay healthy.

All these players go shopping and so on though, we can bubble best we can but it’s only so much that can be done. Thiago was moving into the area from Germany so that left him even more open to it.
It’s why whu haven’t had an issue with covid,their bubbles are endless.

It is ccommon for a lot of people to be asymptomatic.
We’ve had 8 cases at work, 3 of which never showed any symptons or felt unwell in any shape or form.

Rate of asymptomatic cases is far higher than the rate of false positives, and he has probably had a second to confirm the first.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Shaqiri doesn’t come back from international duty. Signing for someone like Basel must be a very strong possibility.
