Fabio "FABINHO" TAVARES: 2022/23

Maybe the Saudi league will fancy him. MLS is a bit too quick for him but he has the 15 mistakes in a match potential that you often see.

Think he won more tackles/duels tonight than he has his last 10 gamesā€¦maybe heā€™s finally been told heā€™s on last chance saloon.

More performances like that please Fab

I donā€™t know how you say it in English but the Wolves guy made a tackle with a leg fully stretched stumps showing, dangerous play in my book, so Fabinho jumped up otherwise the guy could have broken his ankle, and landed on the guyā€™s leg and not only Tierney gave the foul against Fabinho he gave him a hello too ā€¦

Donā€™t even get me started about the disallowed goal where Jota gets the push in his back.

Tierney you fucking cunt, I hope you drop ā€¦ :face_vomiting:

Was good tonight, hopefully sign that he can recover his form in the near future. Seemed very calm and accurate.

Yeah better game from him and that too for the entire 90 which was rare. Still off his usual standards but hopefully this is the start of him improving game by game.

Yeah, that yellow was ridiculous. Lemina going in studs showing, and what looks like Fab trying to do a Zinedine Zidane pirouette.

Should have been a free kick to us and ref just saying to cut out some nonsense.

It was a shitshow from Tierney. The yellow cards for Bajcetic and Fabinho, endlessly allowing naughty tackles from Wolves players, and then ruling out a perfectly legitimate goal.

Fabinho was much better. Not his best level, but much better. Perhaps the baby has started to sleep through the night a bit more? :joy:

Iā€™ve been brutal in saying that I donā€™t care which of our old guard midfielders are moved on this summer, in addition to the ones who will leave as their contracts expire.

But fair play to Fabinho for last night. He showed us that thereā€™s still some fight there, and maybe with two good midfield signings in the summer, he will help us to a few more trophies yet.

Mind you, donā€™t want to get ahead of myself there. Just do more games like that!

I have been his critic all season but thank you Fab for that. One of the great performances and what a timing to do it.

Best performance of the season, he played with confidence on the ball today.

Back to back very good gamesā€¦seems to playing with his head screwed on right now., Iā€™ll reiterate what I said after Wolves. More of the same please Fab

When he got booked I feared the worst but fair play to him he stepped up in the second half and done very well.

I thought it was interesting that Klopp seemed to wait to until he was showing signs of coming out of his slump before publicly criticizing him.

Casemi-who?!

(Canā€™t wait for this joke to bite me on the arseā€¦)

Sell him. Heā€™s shit. We want shiny new toys. Want want want.

Well, carries on like that until last game of the season Fichajes might not be far off that 70m valuation.

Nice to see. He was excellent.

We still need to refresh the engine room in summer but the old breed can still offer something good, and it will help bring the new breed through.

Think it helped him having Konate and van Dijk paired together at last. They offer a lot of physicality which allows him to focus on ball hunting rather than covering. He won the ball back quite a few times high up the pitch. Its always been where he does his best work.

He also covered Konate well, I think TAA did that well as well.
