Got one word right, “slowly”.

Very very slowly. :grinning:

Very, very… very slowly.

:joy:

Just to sum up Jurgen’s quotes about tackles/duels:

All well and good pointing out what one of the problems are Jurgen, how about going some way to fucking fixing it?

How about a magic wand that can bring in whoever he wants for free.:kissing_smiling_eyes:

I get irritated watching him play these days. The last player to reach the box once the midfield has been carved upon. His heat map and how much ground he covers as compared to earlier years would be interesting to see.

What surprises me more is what Klopp sees in his performances to keep allowing him getting games after games for us.

His season last year reminded me of Skrtel in 13-14 - he played with loads of confidence, had loads of good moments (goalscoring particularly) and overall had a good season, but there were loads of signs that he wasn’t doing his primarly role well enough. The team was brilliantly dominant last season but in the times we were put under pressure Fabinho’s ability to protect the defence was little different to it has been this season. His performance against City at home last season was as bad as anything we’ve seen this year, and he wasn’t much better away to them or in the CL final. 3 games that were make or break and he put in 3 absolute stinkers.

Probably still mourning Bolosarno

Can we have our Fab back? It’s been around 6 months of under performance. Really looks like he has aged 10 years in that time.

Feels like we have just plucked him out of a recent Liverpool masters game.

It’s been far longer.

I was kind of hoping it was related to the kid but it evidently isn’t I think the guys shot to pieces for whatever reason.

Personally think he’s done, like Sanchez fell off a cliff at 29.

Sublime player when he was at his peak but his time is up, club is the instigator of our own downfall…keeping too many players well beyond their years.

Him and Hendo is like playing with 9 men…get both gone before they do more damage.

Fabinho seems to be a spent force. He no longer does what he was brought in to do which was to protect the back line.
Hendo needs to take up the Milner role in the squad. He still has plenty in him but just doesn’t seem to be able to put in the 90 mins for every game he plays,so his playing time needs to be reduced.
Thiago could quite easily continue to do what we brought him in for which was to be that creative spark in midfield. The problem is he has to take up extra workload because the other 2 are no longer contributing as they once did but this stifles his creative involvement.

I think Hendo was given a long contract because he will merge eventually into the background staff…

genuinely looks like his legs have gone, it’s bizarre.

time to move on from him, might still get a decent fee for him in the summer.

Sending him to the glue factory might be a bit premature, but it’s madness to persist with him as a single pivot.

It needs to be two from Fab, Hendo, Milner, Thiago, Keita, Jones.

Or if the club really want to be radical, make the Trent move now. He is getting absolutely roasted at full back week in week out.
