Federico CHIESA: 2024/25

…also he has come from a team that was totally dependant upon him providing the match winning spectacular… He should be alright when he realises he has good players around him to share the burden

I can see a Coutinho-like rehabilitation happening here. Inter must still kick themselves for letting him go for peanuts.

It’s how I remember Chiesa even at his previous best; pretty good player, but more on the wild side, less on the finesse side.

Fede is a quality player, no doubt about it. Plays with purpose and without his endeavour and that attacking instinct mindset last night we could still be playing now and be searching for that opening goal. Granted it’s not the best Italian side we’ve ever seen but you don’t make 50 caps for your country if you’re a bad player. Glad he’s here.

I can remember us being quoted £100m for him not that long ago.

Ultimately it’s about staying fit, he is a talent and if he does I reckon he gets us some vital assists and goals.

Who’s the fat prick on the left?

One thing that is obvious is he appears desperate to be part of this team and succeed. He is busting his ass when on which I love. Maybe even trying too hard to score. He knows he has come to a special place.

Whilst my jury is still out in terms of fitting into the team and staying fit, I do warm to him and can see the top quality.

My positive prediction is we see a good contribution in the 2nd half of the season.

I didn’t think Tsikimas would look like that.
