Why was the Austria - Guatemala game cancelled? Anyone knows?
There was too much excitement about it, it became dangerous to play
FIFA didn’t approve it. I haven’t been able to find out their reason why.
Glad for Mexico, it’s a deserved win. The atmosphere in the Aztec stadium was a bit subdued I found, and it came as a surprise for me. But South Africa were really poor to be fair. They never managed to put any real pressure on Mexico.
Canada play Bosnia-Herzegovina tonight. It will be interesting to see how they do. What do our Canadian posters think? What are the expectations for this match?
Oh, and the US start this night as well I see… I won’t watch it, but hopefully Paraguay can teach them a lesson. I don’t know the current strength of both teams though, so no idea what the chances are.

Well done South Korea… I had a sleep so haven’t a clue how it played out but it sounds like it was a pretty crap first half and I’ll watch the highlights later.
Guatamala had already met their FIFA sanctioned number of games in that international window. So in the interests of football and protecting the players, things FIFA really genuinely care about, FIFA unilaterally cancelled the game and forced Austria to find new opponents.
Mexico is a genuinely amazing place.
The story of that is incredible. Haiti’s slaves revolted against the ruling French and so Napoleon sent over additional troops to beat it back. Among them was a regiment of Polish soldiers and when they arrived in Haiti they decided to join the rebellion and fight against the French
