FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico

At some point we all have to come to terms with the fact that last year was doomed from the start.
We have players of very high quality, including Macca. Hopefully a fresh start will do us well

Really cool to see Jordan in their first World Cup ever. Has to be special for those players and their supporters.

So that’s handball but Arsenal were able to punch the ball forwards in the CL final and that was ok?

You forget that every team to beat Turkey in their opening game of a World Cup has gone on to be crowned World Cup winnners!

Tis written in the stars now and the winner has been decided

BOSTON OFFICIALLY DRANK DRY FOR FIRST TIME EVER AS SCOTLAND FANS EMPTY CITY’S ENTIRE BEER SUPPLY

Emergency measures have been activated across Boston after authorities confirmed that Scotland supporters have somehow consumed the city’s entire beer supply in less than a week.

Officials initially believed the reports were exaggerated until bars across the city began displaying signs reading

“OUT OF BEER. PLEASE TRY AGAIN TOMORROW.”

Witnesses describe scenes of panic as pub landlords were forced to search storerooms, basements and check with other pubs if they had any stock left.

With Scotland’s World Cup adventure still ongoing, the Boston Mayor and City Council have now launched Operation Keep The Party Going.

Hundreds of emergency trucks loaded with beer have been dispatched into the city from across America, from states with fans who are partying less, creating what experts are calling the largest alcohol relief effort in American history.

Motorists reported seeing endless convoys of trucks arriving under police escort while Scotland fans lined the roads applauding and cheering as fresh supplies rolled into town.

One city official admitted

“We planned for increased demand. We did not plan for an invasion of people who consider a quiet drink to be twelve hours long.”

Meanwhile, local Scotland supporters have reassured authorities there is no cause for concern, confirming the emergency beer reserves should last “at least until Thursday.”

When I saw this morning that there were 270+ posts in this thread, I figured out that Norway must have enjoyed a good night. Congrats, @Magnus. Nothing unexpected to be fair, but there have already been upsets in this world cup.

What else?.. (consulting results on internet)

Messi giving his best 25-years old impression, and France beating Senegal. So, no upsets there, all very logical, and thus slightly boring…

Bring on tonight, can’t wait.

Going into town early, maybe watch (part of) the Portugal game first and have nice drinks.

Zagreb in spring/early summer is full of nice events in open spaces, more tourists arrive and fit birds everywhere of course.

Let’s keep doing what we do at World Cups!

When I read the write ups about the Argentina game all of them only mention Messi, were their opponent really there or were they sort of invisible?
I will have to watch the match this morning to see if they actually touched the ball.

Highlight of the World Cup so far is the fume CR7 is 100% feeling right now.
