Florian WIRTZ: 2025/26

Covered 12 kilometres. How much does he run for Liverpool?

More than he should, he never lacks effort, he does lack other runners off the ball when he has it though!

He must have been a good basketball player at school or college.

Maybe, Flo must need Xabi Alonso as manager.

It’s almost as if he’s a naturally gifted sportsman :joy:

Tony Cascarino :person_facepalming:

Can you translate? Has Tony made a comment about Flo? Or are they saying that Flo could be.as.good.as.Tony?!?

He accused Wirtz of showboating and likened him to Harlem Globetrotters.

If you had seen him for Germany he was propping the whole team up. Difference being that his German teammates were at least trying.

That isn’t surprising to me. The lad oozes quality. We are dreadful for spurning chances.

i know we were shite, but moments like that make football.

The concern is getting to whether we will be able to keep him. We have to get things right and replace Arne.

Give him good movement and he’ll find you, but we lack good movement mostly.

Unfortunately, they probably aren’t training it. I firmly believe that if they had consistently practiced some coordinated running patterns etc, we would definitely have seen an improvement by now. But one of them simply still doesn’t know what the other is doing.

Totally agree, but any player watching Wirtz should have the nous to be on the move when the ball is going to him!
