I bet we see a 6 year deal here to help spread the payments/amortize the fee over the length of the contract and help us have more wiggle room both this year and in years to come. I’m honestly surprised this has happened, his supposed wage demands are what put off City - talk of him expecting 20mil Euro per year, which is about 17mil in GBP - about 325 grand a week.
