If true, that is remarkably positive. Bayern has been one of the best run clubs for a generation, and LFC is pushing them aside with a sporting vision of the future - with a German player, no less.

Anyway , Slot would have impressed Wirtz and his family with his presentation. But Liverpool as I take it is regarded very highly by a lot of Germans (even if they aren’t fans of the club). And Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool only reinforces that.

Where is @magnus anyway? Right about now he would be writing I like this signing but I don’t love it. That’s not to say I don’t love it, I just like it less than I love it. I trust Edwards although only more so than a stranger and less so than a friend who has the kindness of a Norse god. Speaking of Norse god, Wirtz does not look like a Norse god. Now back to Scrabble.
