I will be surprised if this goes through because it’s a huge price to pay and hope he becomes a game changer and winner like Salah is albeit in a different position. I would not have done that but kudos to the club if they are willing to invest in him. Our recruitment has been good by and large and no reason not to trust if the club sanctions it.

If the club believes that he’s worth the money, that’s all that matters.
He’s seen as a “generational talent” (a term I hate, but that’s the world in which we live), and he is apparently second only to a certain M. Salah in terms of goals + assists in the top five European leagues over the last two years.
Oh, and his stats are pretty good, if you go by that sort of thing:
