I am sick of these bastards trying to rain on our parade.

And so did the rest. Lol I get it now

He played, but did he don the shirt?

AI probably thinks ‘donning’ the shirt involves something like this

The AI I used for a couple of posts, actually works, unlike whatever foolish robot computed that stuff.
There is AI and then there is AI.

The way to actually use an AI academically, is to have a good promt, then it answers your questions from the database, showing you items you can reserch, google or read about in a book. But different AIs have different strenghts. The “google AI” is not among the best ones (those who are free, are generally not amazing, but can still be used to help you in a search and of course, it doesn’t matter much when one is discussing sports anyway). You are not supposed to rely on an AI. It is an aid; a tool.

And yes, I am punishing you with a wordy, pretty unrelated, lecture you are definitely not interested in (because I know you are curious enough to read every word) for daring to compare my post with this.

Shame on you, you terrible Indian fisherman :fishing_pole:

There was a man named Magnus
Who decided he’d write an opus
He used AI
Which made us all sigh
Because his words are all so bogus :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Marco Reus does have to be mentioned.

If memory serves, Gunter Netzer was the guy that absolutely destroyed England at Wembley… Pulled the strings for the entire game. Everyone was talking in school next day, about how good he was… bearing in mind also, George Best was still playing at the time for a comparison.

In the 1972 UEFA Euro final between England and West Germany at Wembley, Gunter Netzer was a dominant force for West Germany, orchestrating their 3-1 victory. He is often remembered for his precise passing, ability to control the game, and his masterful display against England. Netzer’s performance was particularly impactful, contributing to West Germany’s victory and leaving a lasting impression on English football fans.

And gundogan as well.

Got so used to gundogan playing under Pep in city that I forgot he came directly from Dortmund.

Something has happened - the youth have been reintroduced to the greats of Netzer and by association the marvelous BMG side of the 70s that is so intertwined with our emergence on the European stage

So no actual news but 30 odd posts about players who may or may not have played for Bayern at some point in their careers

The next actual news will be in the “Welcome to Liverpool, Florian Wirtz” thread. Anything before then will just be speculation.
