We know the player wants to join us. We know his club is open to sell. We know that we’re out of competition. We know that we’re ready to pay big money.
When it’s been reported that we made a bid that probably true.
Anything after that until ‘bid accepted’ is bullshit.
As if guys like Romano or Joyce taking part in the negotiations.
It’s all artificial hype to fish for likes and subs.
Very funny still laughing!
If he help us with the league again and the CL as well people will wonder how we got him so cheaply.
Yeah. Rio’s fee was astronomical for the time. It took about 10 years for anyone else to come close again for a defender, but one he arrived and started playing the size of the fee was never really discussed again because, as much of a prick as he is, he was the right player for them. Same with Virgil for us, just without being a prick.
Of course, it goes without saying that it would be fantastic if Wirtz were to attain Van Dijk’s levels and make everyone forget about his fee.
close to unzip time!!
Payment terms is when we spread the cost of the deal over 8 years. In essence , do a Chelsea
So some bitter dipshit on the Caf said we don’t know what we’re doing and any competent club would have offered £80m.
The interaction below followed…
Can confirm that. I’m there and this is what I’m discussing.
Tell us when you come to an agreement.
But not in Bielefeld, right?
Think we’ll get confirmation of this as soon as @jabu posts the exact same thing in 2 minutes.
Two minutes?
Still waiting…
Hopefully will be proven wrong but, on this deal only, I’m not sure we’ve really done much negotiating when you consider the fees/add ons being speculated. Hughes still too hungover? ,
