KdB was the second most Prem expensive signing ever when he signed, behind only Di Maria. We would take several years without coming close to that amount before we signed Virgil, and have still only hit that number a handful of times since. But there is no way around this being a huge fee no matter what it lands at. But that is the benefit of being smart with our targets and not just caving to the pressure of the calls from the fans to “just sign anyone”
