Wirtz definitely provides more options. Szoboszlai would play more like an 8, Mac Allister could revert to DM like he did under Klopp… There are certainly things that Slot could try.
I’m just skittish about the fee.

I think he’s probably going to offer quite a lot up forward. He seems like he can cover lots of positions on the ground. But from the heatmaps, it appears he Wirtz to the left more during games.

Actually after we’ve uncovered that @Walshy07 is an ITK, it wouldn’t surprise me if we also find out @RedArmada is part of the FSG consortium (James LeBron seems totally plausible

I don’t like the fact that our bid has been leaked. I’d prefer if those things were kept quiet until a deal was struck. Leaking the bid only invites competition.
