Isn’t he in camp with the Germany team? Lot easier to send a couple of our medical types in there without gathering a whole lot of attention than him arriving at the AXA having had his plane tracked by some internet weirdos.

Wirtz is already at the training camp with the national team. It’s certainly not possible to simply do a medical check unnoticed, as there are tons of journalists on site in Herzogenaurach.
So if that happens there, we will definitely find out immediately.

Medicals can be done quickly even when players are at international duty.
I don’t panic, whether this gets announced tonight or in a week or two… I don’t care. The main thing is that we get it done behind the scenes and there are no issues.

Should’ve watched 10 full games instead…
That did nothing to blunt my enthusiasm of or trust in a good highlight video because every one I saw of him made him look utterly shit anyway. That entire move is to this day one of the more confusing things I’ve seen us do to the point that the only explanation I can come up with is someone got a huge pay off for making it happen.
