He was Germany’s best player but he cannot doing on his own but Adeyemi made a difference when he came on for 10 minutes.

From the bits I saw, I was glad to see him stand up for himself. He will need that in the Prem. The skill is all there and under Slot’s tutelage I expect to see some lovely football with Wirtz in the thick of it. But the fact that he stuck his foot on Bruno, and stood up to them, was good to see. Not going overboard, it wasn’t Souness in his pomp
