You spelt Carragher wrong .

Recognition at last! Even if it is from a dodgy source, I’ll take all I can get at this stage.

There’s a lot I didn’t know about him. He had to battle through so much to achieve his success.

Does it mention he spends lots of time on here and is constantly flitting between hemispheres during football season?

The struggle was all worth it when I received the accolade of The Anfield Noise Inaugural Poster Of The Year (Non-football).

Does anyone know why we did this as “The Reds” and not as Liverpool FC? And those terrible shirts, by the way.

“The game wasn’t officially endorsed by the club”. Maybe that’s why.

I’m sure Kuyt hasn’t much changed.

Yeah, I just wonder why—and whether that might have had something to do with the venue or something like that.

Perhaps the match was not organised through LFC Foundation? In the TIA article, it speculated that “It may simply be that too much is happening at Liverpool, not least the arrival of Andoni Iraola as head coach, to justify taking the time to focus on this match.”

Divock Origi retires from playing football at the age of 31.

Although considering how his last years went, it seems more like he retired that one night in Madrid 7 years ago.

:joy:

I just find it strange that the club distanced itself from it, yet they’re going ahead with it anyway on their own—under a new name, with new shirts, and so on. You don’t just do something like that without a reason; it must have been really important to the players to go through with it, even without “approval.”

One of my old colleagues lives right next to the now famous “Football without Origi is nothing” mural in Brooklyn and she send me pics of it periodically :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

The mural itself is unremarkable, it is just VERY unexpected

But she also lives next to Welsh actor Matthew Rhys and sends me creepy stalker photos of him whenever she sees him about and that is just as unexpected

Deffo feel it could have been more for him if that Everton knob hadn’t injured him. But as he said he scored a goal on one of the biggest stages in football to seal the match and give us a stress free 10 minutes

And, ‘Corner taken quickly’…

If that arsehole doesn’t injure him, we probably win the Europa League.
