Hope that was not true… Heard he had problems in his life that he needed to get a handle on himself.
Anyway, the comment reminded me of these two guys, shall we say, worse for wear :0)

Think he said it himself on a podcast according to the article I seen

Ryan Kent is leaving Rangers after rejecting any new contract discussions.

Didn’t sign a new contract with Rangers since he signed for them, so probably had this in mind for a while now. Morelos is also leaving on a free, it seems.

Kolo knew how to deal with the refs

Bit intrigued, assume he comes back down to England but at what level?

Kent has dreams of playing in the EPL but will end up in the championship

Morelos dreams of playing in the champ league, but will be lucky to find any club that will take him

Maybe the nearest Chub Club will take him onto their books :0)

:speaking_head: Steven Gerrard: "There was a knock on my hotel room door in Dubai. It was Lucas Leiva, one of my many good friends in the squad. Lucas asked if he could come in for a moment.
“‘I’ve got a little something for you,’ he said. ‘Of course,’ I said. I was always happy to see Lucas.
“He presented me with a silver salver. It was from him to me and he had written the words inscribed on the plate.
“‘I’ve been thinking about getting this done for a while,’ Lucas said. I felt a lump in my throat as I read his message.
“‘We often hear the expression there will never be another. In your case, my friend, it is most definitely the case. A Captain, leader and a legend in every sense of the word. Every moment I have spent on the pitch with you has been a privilege. The very best to you and your family with all your future endeavours - Lucas Leiva.’”
“I just about held it together while Lucas quietly watched me read his words. I thanked him and he smiled happily. We hugged it out. But once he left, I was gone. There was no stopping my tears.”

The owner of the Dentist where Mrs C used to work was a Red. He was always slagging Lucas off and I’d always defend him. He got to referring to him as “your mate”. I was happy with that.
I always loved him as a player and was happy to see him do well in Italy after leaving us.

He can’t have been that bad. He won player of the season a couple of times at Lazio.*

*That may or may not have had something to do with Reds fans hijacking the on-line fan vote?:wink::joy::nerd_face:

I always thought he was played out of his natural position to help the LFC cause…
If that was the case, understandable why he wasn’t getting 9/10 ratings every match
Was sorry to see him go…
