He has found his level after a career of overachievement.
He even got an England call up!
Just watched Crystal Palace v Liverpool from May 14.
Heart breaking stuff
3-0 up with 13 minutes to go, Brendan has Toure, Sissoko and Agger on the bench, available to basically tighten things up, but still maybe sneak a 4th on the break.
He brings on Coutinho and Victor fucking Moses.
Anyone ever claiming that Rodgers tactical naivety didnât cost us the league that year needs locking up.
EDIT:- Just watched Rodgersâ post match interview.
Snidey cunt couldnât wait to pass the buck.
Fuck I hope with all my being that we see a Rangers resurgence next season and his horrible mob win fuck all
The heartbreak was against Chelsea. It wasnât in our hands at 3-0 with 13 minutes left; the damage was done by Bwenden trying to out tactic Mourinho when a 0-0 would have done the job.
Yep.
The Palace game was how to display tactical naivety lesson two.
Defensively we werenât exactly great that season, and if Suarez and Sturridge hadnât been so ridiculously good, Bodgers would have got his jotters much sooner.
When he first moved to Liverpool he bought a house near to my uncleâs house. What he didnât check out is that it was right next to a primary school. He spent the first few weeks having kids knocking on his door for autographs. In the end he made a special visit and signed anything the kids could throw at him.
He still lives in the Liverpool area is he not?
Yes, he is one of the Legends you can meet on certain tours of Anfield. I met him and had a photo with him on my 50th. Curtesy of Mrs C.
All those injuries, such a pitty but this man could score a goal âŚ

The range of goals he scored with his left foot ist up there with the best in the world.
More than just his finishing (that would be more Fowler), for me itâs his technique in small spaces thatâs arguably the best Iâve seen from a Liverpool forward. The way he could manipulate, create for himself, but also for others.
A joy to watch when he was fit, Heaven knows how good he would have been had his fitness record been like Suarezâ. I remember late Luis Aragones describing Torres as a striker who never scored two same goals - I think the same description applies to Sturridge. His medal haul turned out to be rather decent but he really should have played and scored more.
We were shite in the back and in goal but look at the midfield and attack âŚ
Very good with even his weaker foot
On talent , he would have been the best English striker of his generation, and the prior generation as well.

I see Karius is still earning a living in football âŚ
Happy for Karius.
