I’d like to see an arrangement with the PL and PFA that players default into an index fund type arrangement where 70% of their income over say 500k sits. Players like Craig Bellamy aren’t well placed to weigh up financial ‘advice’ and, as players are generally heavily influenced by peer pressure, making good financial management a ‘standard’ part of being a top professional would quickly normalise it instead of Firmino type conspicuous consumption that makes the sand league more attractive.
Don’t have any particular take on ‘lager’ one way or another - my beer of choice is a peasant stout (Coopers, Guinness) - but Carlsberg is something else…
Show me a small business owner who’s a socialist.
They are usually co-operatives. There are thousands of them.
Small businesses are usually co-ops? Not here they’re not.
No, small businesses that operate on socialist principles are usually cooperatives.
A couple of fine moustaches in there.
Wonder who punched the one underneath the goalie ?
The guy bottom row right has stumbled in from the 1920s
Judging by the smug grin on his face, I’d say the Goalie.
Not particularly common here. Every small hairdresser, butchers, flowers, newsagents etc etc etc is independent. The Americans would call them Mom and Pop stores and they don’t band together.
He’ll be shite won’t he? Wish they’d bin off the former players and get well researched and articulate pundits who have already demonstrated they are capable of voicing new opinions.
FFS even TAN can afford you.
Aren’t all pundits on Sky/BT former players?
Studge will be great for his sheer charisma alone…can’t wait to hear him analysing whilst sat next to Gary and Roy and seeing their drab expressions afterwards.
These people do not exist. The biggest football podcast in the country - Football Weekly - don’t know who half the players in the league are.
We are stuck with people repeating “they just want it more” for eternity.
Is it because you are press resistant?
