Mate, if you knew half the stories of my travels you’d openly avoid being anywhere near my travel itinerary.
It even started on a school trip from Gold Coast to Brisbane when we had 2 buses booked. 1 broke down 100 meters after picking us up, the other lost a wheel on the highway. And disaster has pretty much followed me everywhere ever since.

Looking forward to getting out of the cold in just over a week’s time, flying down to FL and going on a cruise, with stops in the Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas. We are not big cruise people, just done one of them before, but at this point we are looking forward to a break, and walking a few nice beaches.
Just me and Mrs ROTW will do this one and leave the kids at home (age 20 and 17). The little buggers better not throw a big party at our house while we are gone

Have done two cruises, both were excellent. NCL and Carnival.
booze is incredibly expensive on the boat, and the ports of call are tourist traps. But, enjoy it for the relaxing holiday with lots of walking. I’d do one again in a heartbeat.

Currently on the cruise, docked and enjoying a light lunch before going to a beach in the US Virgin Islands.
We got the premium drinks package when we got on board so we can have anything when we want, top shelf spirits, beer, wine, Starbucks…
I sold a kidney to cover it 
thinking about doing a big one this fall. couple days at Disney for the kid, then maybe a week on a beach in MX and then a week cruise? 50th this year.
