Each to their own, of course, but Best, Peters and McIlroy’s Masters were one-off events. Even if you look at Rory completing the slam, that’s five wins from many championships.

McCoy won twenty championships. In a row.

Beating 160 other golfers over 4 days to win any tournament is such a difficult thing to do.
To do it in a ‘major’ even more so.
The fact that only one person in 60 years had previously won all 4 majors makes in so much more remarkable.

If you wanted to sum up Rory then 15 was it. Down and out but finds super human skills to bend an iron to 10 feet.

Then misses the putt!

But so well done. Such a great story and he spoke so well afterwards.

One of the best (non Liverpool) sporting events I have witnessed.
