Its no surprise if you look at his Rangers side the played some terrible football.

Iā€™d say thereā€™s more chance me waking up tomorrow morning with a pair of tits and a nunny than that happening.

I donā€™t think he ever fully got the players on boardā€¦
Might be wrong but I donā€™t see them marching en-masse into the Chairmans office if Stevie gets let go

Won the SPL and did very well in Europe considering their resources. I think he can be a decent manager but probably needs to have a good head coach with him.

End of the road Iā€™m afraid the Villa fans singing the slip song will be the last straw.

As well as the sacked in the morning song, and the we want so and so out song and the get out of our club song and pretty much every other song directed at a managerā€™s dismissal.

Stevie G sacking confirmed

Just seen a stat on Twitter wont take it as gospel says Villa only took 17 points from the traditional big six teams from 22 games

Never thought he would be a good manager, sort of proved me wrong at Rangers, but after Villa it just shows how incredibly weak the Scottish league is. He spent a lot of money at Villa, I donā€™t think he is suited to this part of the game. I always cringed at the thought of him taking over here, way too much sentiment. A Frank Lampard comparison has followed them both during their careerā€™s, and it seems like it still is.

Maybe he will come back stronger, I doubt it though.

We have a saying in the Netherlands: een goed paard is nog geen goede ruiter.

Translation, a good horse wil not say you are a good horseman.

In other words, just because you were a fantastic player it will not automatically make you a fantastic manager.

If only he had made it 18, at just the right time.

Villa is just nonsense. Wycombe Wanderers had taken 0 points from the traditional big six and Gareth Ainsworth is still the in the position after 10 years.

Hopefully this puts to bed the fantasy notion many people Iā€™ve talked to have had, that he is destined to be Liverpool manager.

A year ago many thought LFC future manager after the Rangers success. Unlikely now.

Only thing harder than managing at this level is reffing

PS I hope Villa are relegated now.
