I’m probably a centrist compared to most of the guys around here.
I don’t mind quite a lot of the economic policies of the right wing. But could do without the lunacy.
There are very few left economic policies that I agree with.
There’s nothing wrong with having quite a lot conservative financial policies.
Why don’t enough people want to vote for liberal values and fiscal conservativeness ? Both don’t need to be exclusive.

No as in conserve the natural environment for its own sake.

Since 2010 the UK has drifted to the right. Around 2016 it lurched a long way to the right and I suspect our dear departed colleague followed that path.
We really need a reset, a major reset which is not popular in some quarters.

That sounds like an extremist and not a liberal/conservative.
And extremists are exactly what the current UK Conservative Party have become.
