edit: I see he made 18 appearances last season with Rovers - weird that Downing instead references seeing him in a preseason game just before he signed for Blackburn.

I hope we do keep him for this season. I’d be perfectly happy if we go into the year with Jota, Minamino and Elliott backing up the front three (obviously Jota is more of a rotational piece than a pure backup).

I think he has very high ceiling but I’m not sure if he is ready for this level. Off-course Klopp will use him sparingly and wisely, but I hope the lad is smart and tough enough not be disappointed with limited playing time or 1-2 bad performances.
Yeah, it will be really, really, exciting if Elliott and Minamino can supplement the four attackers.

Probably depends on how many we can sell, if Origi, Shaqiri etc are still here I think he will go out on loan again.

As successful as he was on loan last year, I really hope he stays and is able to find some minutes to grow with the team.
Of course, I expect Shaq to leave and would want Elliott to get his minutes (and maybe more) whether or not that happens.
