Enough excuses have been given for Elliot claiming he’s young etc… The club needs to take him aside, stop him from using Social media / or probably hire him a social media team.
He does himself no credit by replying to those vile trolls even if in that case , his references to greenwood were spot on , that’s still beside the point.
I think it’s more of how much you let context define how you interpret a particular post? For those of you who like to read to the letter of the law, it might seem completely innocuous to you, but to others, one might read something very different based on that…
@Zoran has made a point, albeit explaining that English is not his first language.
He has subsequently defended the point to an extent.
Others have questioned his point and the relevance of it to a discussion on how Harvey Elliot uses social media.
I really doubt that @Zoran needs protection as he is well able to defend his corner.
The other thing is, as @Kopstar states…another player mentioned in the discussion has not been found guilty of anything so we probably shouldn’t convict him either.
I wouldnt hold harvey to a higher standard when ive been guilty of losing my temper on an online comvo. But he needs to step up. His chats with his ex gf etc do not help his cause one bit.
I absolutely believe this, and believe it’s important to Jurgen. I also believe that Jurgen likes to see the response that he gets, so Harvey seems to be going about it in the right way.
