This screams blag injury to me. I think he’s been told he won’t play Leeds unless he sits out the last match, and it suits everyone to invent a muscle injury.

It was crazy that he’s involved at all with all the game time he has had for such a young player. Perhaps a little twinge that allowed everyone to come to their senses?
England don’t want it to appear Liverpool are dictating terms. Liverpool don’t want Harvey to play. Harvey would like to be in contention to play against Leeds.

Saw he picked up a knock and withdrew from the England U21s. Can’t catch a break. Hopefully not serious
From what the journos it seemed to be. Rather take knocks than stuff like the Gomez injury.

Intriguing their friendly was also cancelled and then this happened, I would assume he was going be tried in that but once that fell through he stuck with his current U21s.
Saves face a bit and keeps the wolfs from the door. Young players don’t need that kind of scrutiny. Of course if he isn’t on at least the bench against Leeds I’m totally wrong.

Not sure if I ‘like’ the fact that he is posting while on the stretcher in the ambulance.
Club usually wants to keep control with updates on injuries etc.

Could be a similar injury like Andre Gomes after he was fouled by Son. Gomes returned after just 112 days.

Looks like an ankle break to me.
Andre Gomes was back within 4 months and his was absolutely horrendous, even worse looking initially than Harvey’s.
Fingers crossed for a full and swift recovery.
