Tapping up Elliott according to the unwritten rules of Newcastle.
Hang on!
How can they discuss terms with him if Leipzig HAVEN’T SUBMITTED A BID!
Fucking CARTEL clubs think they can do what they want!!!
£100m is the price OR JOG ON!!!
And they can FUCK OFF paying in instalments as well!!!
YNWA
He want’s the prerequisite games in order to claim another PL title, then he will move, so Jan transfer window.
I hope Klopp shows generosity towards his former club.
He likes Elliot , that’s for certain. Everyone likes Elliot. But can we have a reasonable bid incoming please ?
Presumably there will be a couple of handy Premier League teams who like the cut of Harvey’s jib. I suspect there is more interest than we are aware of. Also, if there are a few teams that will help us not get rinsed on the fee.
I don’t want us to price Harvey out of a move, but it should not be a penny less than £40M, and based on a few comps we’ve seen, that is a very good price for a player with Elliott’s quality.
Maybe Xabi Simons likely move to Chelsea will result in Harvey going to RBL. According to ESPN, Simons has told the club that he wants the Chelsea and is not interested in Citeh or Bayern. Ah, another adolescent drawn in by the bright lights of London.
Needs to be at least 45m pounds including attainable add-ons. Any less and we need a 20% sell on plus buy back around 60m.
Fulham have a clause as well. So we’ll need a clause to offset that.
The opening post of this thread has ornstein saying our price is either 40+buy back or 50 straight up
Probably a ploy as no one is coming close to our conditions of a sale i.e. transfer fee, additional clauses such as buy-back or sell-on.
Not a tough choice for Harvey. A starter for CP or come on as a sub for the last 5 minutes of the game for Liverpool. Liverpool wins every time.
Palace would be a good move for Harvey. A solid Prem club and as a regular starter he would have a chance to really show what he can do.
Obviously we are a level above, and Elliott can stay and be part of a group chasing the top prizes. But on the evidence of last season, only a bit part.
So that’s his dilemma, and I think he has dropped enough hints to let us know that he would prefer to play regularly, assuming it’s a decent club.
Let’s see what happens, but I think a departure is on the cards, and if so, good luck to him.
If he has any ambitions of making it into the England squad for the WC, then playing regularly for a PL club will put him in more of the spotlight than playing for RB Leipzig. Yes, I know the England manager is German
