Iām quite sure that heāll still get a lot of playing time. Heās incredibly good and his ceiling seems to be incredibly high. Iām not too concerned about that.

We spent Ā£125m and Ā£70m on our future though.
Since 2020 the club has done an exceptional job of turning over forwards and having bedded in forwards to pick up the slack: Jota 2 seasons before and Diaz 6 months before ManƩ departed, Bobby 12 months after that. Those were big money signings as well and we had Sadio, Bobby,Salah, Jota and Diaz on the books at one point.
Weāll see if Salah sticks around until 2027. Itās possible both sides agree to part ways earlier if Salahās form dips, which would justify this even more.
I could also talk about the game every 4 days until Jan (assuming the 8-9 day break we get once a month will be filled with domestic cup games or internationals?)
But nah, itās mostly continuing on with what weāve done for 5 years, preparing for the worst (departures) but having bedded in backups waiting in the wings ,all the while having the right level of quality across the board to push ourselves in every competition.
