Joyce come on man…
Hakuna?
Good luck to those lads trying to track Ekitike’s plan from Frankfurt airport (it’s one of the busiest in Europe)!

6 year contract!? Is it the longest we have offered?
He profiles very similarly to Isak, is two years younger, and perhaps less injury prone based on performance to date. Never could see Newcastle selling for less than a ridiculous price, nor could I really see Liverpool smashing the transfer record twice in one window. Ekitike will still be extraordinarily expensive, but clearly of the available top line number 9’s, he fits Slot’s system the best. His interplay with Marmoush last season may not be all that different to what we’d expect to see with Wirtz going forward.
Definitely a risk in that he’s really only been performing at the top level for the last year and a half, but I think he’s less of a risk than Nunez was at the time.
Remind me…why do we have a strong relationship with Frankfurt?
Slot likes his sausages.
PSG have a 20% sell on clause.
Him and Mo - perfect big man little man combo
Same as Nunez and Allison.
Because when Jorg was here we bought every other player who played in Germany but left them alone so they were thankful for that.
I know the Youtube clip was just highlights so doesn’t show any stupid misses but I liked what I saw. Good in the air, can dribble, pick out a pass, good right foot, knows the offside rule and gets on the end of tap ins.
The analysis the Athletic did of him about a month ago identified his biggest weakness as erratic or unreliable finishing. He seems to be a potentially elite level forward for whom the scoring of goals is not the most natural part of his game.
Tit
Definitely. His involvement in the overall play is what’s massively appealing for me, and may be a bonus for Salah, who seems to be more absent in games. A player like Ekitike getting involved in the attacking build-up frees up Salah to occupy dangerous spaces more often.
I guess having Diaz centrally in our games was sort of trying to have that attacking player involved in the overall play more often, but having a natural striker who can do that will be an added bonus.
newcastle fans trying to change the narrative to make themselves feel better by claiming they baited lfc so they could keep isak…
Don’t know much about this lad admittedly, but €80m is a steep fee for potential, isn’t it?
Anyway, I back the club to do the right thing. The personnel has changed since we bought Nunez for a much too high fee.
