I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

The fans behaviour has probably scared away anyone decent…
What rapport could any decent stand up guy ever expect to have with that baying mob

I am 100% sure that if rumours are to be believed and Everton appoint Rooney as manager THEY WILL GO DOWN.

Bring it on!!

I hear Maureen is being mentioned🤣

I’ve said a year or two ago he would be perfect for Everton. Lower expectations and being the underdog would probably suit him now

He was in charge of Spurs for a while, you can’t get more underdog

Rafa reinvigorated the careers of two forgotten player that nobody wanted, probably two of the best value for money transfers that Everton have ever had (at least the past 20 years?). I am curious to see how they progress from now on (the players).

I have a funny story which I shouldn’t mention let’s just say that would be an improvement on what I’ve been told.

Was that to pay for Rafa’s contract termination?

Apparently Everton have paid out over £75 million, in recent years, to compensate sacked managers and staff.

Burning questions I have are:

a) Do Everton have a Goldbridge equivalent?

b) Will @SBYM be on Everton watch for the remainder of the season?

That has all the signs of “We need more money boss” to it.

I think he’s gone from 77.2% up to the reported 94.1%. I guess that accounts for £20 of that £100m.

Need the club to have experienced atleast some success in the recent past to be like goldbridge or the AFTV guys.

The likes of them need that air of entitlement of their past achievements.

Bitters on the other hand accept their club is shite and have very minimal expectations. 8th is their equivalent of 1st

You know the state of your club when Mina is captain.

This feels much better, more natural. No little pang of guilt over Rafa, just the clean, pure hoping for Evertonian disaster. The way it should be.

On the other hand, I don’t recall ever feeling so invested in a Villa game.
