I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

Interesting stat I saw just now.

Since September, Everton have had more players in court than they have league wins.

And those 11 games were Palace (a), Chelsea (a) Brighton (H), Norwich (a), Villa (H), Newcastle (a), Leeds (H), Southampton (a), Man City (H), Spurs (a) and Wolves (H).

Compare that to their remaining fixtures where they play five of the current top six plus Palace, Leicester and relegation six pointers away at Watford and home to Brentford on the penultimate day.

I’d be very scared if I were a blue. And miserable.

Ah it was Dicks yeah my apology, I know Ruddock took the same kind of penalty before we finally gave it over to Fowler.

I would have said the bare minimum with the teams as they are and the way they are playing for a side like Everton should have been 11 points.

Has there been any talk of sacking Lampard yet? I know they only just signed him, but he looks destined to take them down.

It’s Everton. There was talk of sacking him before he was in post.

But yes, seen some gossip pages saying his job is already under threat.

Who was that random Portuguese bloke they were going to appoint? Is he still available

Calvert-Lewin has been in court over a speeding offence, when driving his Lamborghini. His solicitor told the court that his client has a disposable income of £450 per week. Call me cynical, but doesn’t that sound a tad on the low side, for a Premier League footballer? He must be on very good money at Everton.

£1800 per month…needs to negotiate a new contract…believe that, believe anything…and the judge , I assume did…he made aa ASS out of U and ME…

It’s sort of unravels considering what car he chose to buy and then speed in.

Footballers are clever these days.

A lot got paid into a LTD company and “pay themselves” from there.

In essence the limited companies income could be 200k per week and the player may only decide to pay himself £x per week from there.

The lambourghini and probably players house and in truth most assets are probably owned through the Ltd company.

Tax efficient and not illegal

And yet another reason why the world is fucked.

Oh no doubt, well he can have the fine as a limited asset as well.

Agree with you but he is only doing what probably all premier league players are advised to do from a tax perspective

All “high earners” actually

Nope. That one’s just down the road.

Didn’t Whigfield have a song with those lyrics?
