That’ll do for me.
Vile scum
Send the bill across the park…
Going to be pretty difficult bit of squad management for them if they go down (and even if they don’t to be honest)
Here is their squad list currently…
GOALKEEPERS
Jordan Pickford - 28 - SELL - Will be on high wages and probably one of their more saleable assets. Also isn’t as good as he pretends to be.
Asmir Begovic - 34 - KEEP - Out of contract but I’d imagine he’d be happy to extend for relatively low wages.
Andy Lonergan - 38 - RELEASE - No point keeping him when you can fill this slot with youngsters.
Joao Virginia - 22 - KEEP - Has been a backup for Sporting Lisbon this season, maybe its finally the time to give him the gloves at Goodison Park.
CENTRE BACKS
Michael Keane - 29 - KEEP - Probably hard to move him on with his form the last few years. Should be decent enough in the Championship.
Mason Holgate - 25 - KEEP - Again I doubt anyone is banging down the door to sign him, has a good game in him every so often.
Ben Godfrey - 24 - KEEP - Should be the main centre back, was excellent for Norwich in the Championship so should have no problems at this level.
Yerry Mina - 27 - SELL - Injured most of the season and that may shield his value from being associated with this defence. He’s on high wages.
Jarrad Branthwaite - 19 - KEEP - I actually expect him to become a first choice CB alongside Godfrey by the end of the season.
RIGHT BACKS
Jonjoe Kenny - 25 - KEEP - Has been abysmal this season but Championship is a step down and it’s probably hard to get rid. He’s cheap on wages.
Seamus Coleman - 33 - KEEP - Old and clearly fading rapidly but is a veteran presence.
Nathan Patterson - 20 - KEEP - Hasn’t been used due to injury since signing but should probably be first choice RB next season.
LEFT BACKS
Vitaliy Mykolenko - 22 - KEEP - Made quite a good impact so far for a youngster in his first year in the PL.
Niels Nkounkou - 21 - KEEP - Has had a bit of criticism for Liege this year but should be an able deputy LB.
DEFENSIVE/CENTRAL MIDFIELD
Allan - 31 - SELL - Terrible player who is rapidly declining. They’ll have to hope he still has a reputation in Italy to get someone to pay for him.
Abdoulaye Doucoure - 29 - KEEP - This depends on wages really especially as you could probably get decent money for him. He’s Everton’s best player though.
Andre Gomes - 28 - SELL - High wages, massive injuries and poor performances. Have to get him off the books if possible.
Donny van de Beek - 25 - END LOAN - They couldn’t keep him anyway but doubt they want to. Turns out he is just shit.
Fabian Delph - 32 - RELEASE - Out of contract and has been stealing a living for a while.
Tom Davies - 23 - KEEP - Not the most cultured player but there is no value to selling and he’s relatively cheap. Similar standard to Will Hughes which should be fine for Championship.
Alex Iwobi - 25 - KEEP - I’m in a minority but I actually think he’s a good player. Certainly good enough to dominate in the Championship. Wages are a problem.
ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS
Dele Alli - 26 - SELL - Probably wishful thinking to get any money for him, might have to either suck it up and keep him or try and loan him out and get a portion of those wages gone. Absolute madlads paid 40m for him three months ago.
Gylfi Sigurdsson - 32 - RELEASE - Jesus christ what a couple of AMs they have got themselves here. Out of contract and probably playing for Mean Machine next season.
WINGERS
Demarai Gray - 25 - KEEP - Championship is the right level for him, should be a good contributor even if he won;t be a full time starter.
Anthony Gordon - 21 - KEEP - His quality is overstated by Evertonians but I can’t begrudge them trying to find positives. He looks to be good enough to start regularly in the Championship for them.
Anwar El Ghazi - 26 - END LOAN - This move absolutely stinks of agent involvement.
Andros Townsend - 30 - SELL - If there is one thing Townsend has proven in his career it is that there is always someone willing to pay for his two goals a year.
STRIKERS
Richarlison - 24 - SELL - I’d imagine he’s worth the most of their current squad. Pretty robust and is talented when he can be arsed. Could get 40m for him most likely.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin - 25 - SELL - Again worth a decent chunk of change, rumoured that Arsenal want him. Time to cash in on that purple patch last season.
Salomon Rondon - 32 - SELL - Actually could be effective in the Championship but I wouldn’t pay to find out.
Cenk Tosun - 30 - RELEASE - Amazing they still have him.
Moise Kean - 22 - SELL - What?! Wow, genuinely thought they sold him years ago.
So for me they need a whole new set of strikers and attacking midfielders as well at least two more central midfielders.
From their youth side they lack top tier talent but there are some who could have an impact at least.
Harry Tyrer - 20 - GK
Ryan Astley - 20 - CB
Reece Welch - 18 - CB
Kyle John - 21 - RB
Lewis Warrington - 19 - CM
Tyler Onyango - 19 - CM
Isaac Price - 18 - CM
Lewis Dobbin - 19 - LW
Stanley Mills - 18 - RW
Rafael Garcia - 19 - CF
Thomas Cannon - 19 - CF
Ellis Sims - 21 - CF
Not expecting fireworks from any of them but you could probably squeeze a handful of serviceable performances from the group. Lewis Dobbin perhaps the standout.
I was watching the game on mute on my phone. I was unaware until this morning that there was even a controversy around the lack of penalty on that call such was the innocuousness of it. Sometimes these issues are so manufactured it’s nuts. And for a game in which there so much provocation and cynical over reaction to everything from the everton players, for this insignificant contact to be such a bone of contention after the game is absurd. As with the Mane incident. How many times did Doucore put his hands on our players?
Yeah, I watch everything on mute, and I thought the Origi one was much more of a penalty. Thought Mané was a lucky man mind, surprised Holgate didn’t immediately go down rolling all around…
Yeah I said to my mate Mane was lucky I also have it on mute, I didn’t think the Gordon one was a pen and nethier is Origi’s but if you give one, you give both, maybe we should announce we are asking the FA about the Origi one.
It’s like they are behaving as it’s a stonewall, it isn’t, they probably happen every match, ironically someone saying you don’t go to Anfield and play like Brighton.
What draw 2-2?
I’ve seen teams sit back and defend against us and get results against us, Chelsea and Arsenal with 10 men but also others have pushed us to the limits such as Brighton. You don’t need to do what they did yesterday. They should be fined for bringing the game into disrepute. Love the FA to throw back a charge about being on the floor so much.
3 goals from open play and 5 goals in total in 9 games is why they are in that bottom three, not some perceived injustice of a penalty.
And here is Lampard saying they should only worry about the points they can still win, and warning against negativity.
They are properly all over the shop.
Isn’t this the last stick they try to beat us with? Ie. we have been in the top flight longer than you (unbroken run).
Let them. Klopp is breaking each record one by one, maybe that will one of the next to go
We won something.
Frank’s interview after the game talked about how proud he was of the players at making it do difficult for us. But you know, goals change games and if they had have got one themselves in the first half when they were on top…
He then realized that he misinterpreted being cynically negative to the point of us denying us a shot on goal is not the same thing as being on top and so then didnt finish his thought and moved on to talking about something else.
Those pictures need to be all over the press.
So which game was that then? You know, the one when they were on top?
Haha @Limiescouse
Omg…jamie vardys long lost son…is still harping on about the non pen…I’ve seen replays today…I think it was a 50/50 contact…thats why the ref didnt offer anything…so he wants an explanation…how can you talk to pig shit???..you didnt get a pen…we didnt get a pen…your mate fallydownson was lucky to stay on the pitch…its done get over it, put your energy into helping your team, is that an easy explanation…fgs.

You don’t get these given at Anfield.
Except when you do, like last season where Trent is deemed to have fouled someone, despite sitting on the floor facing away from the runner, and the ref still gives it despite being sent to the monitor by VAR.
Tbf, that might just be his 5 minutes of fame done and dusted, so I suppose we should cut him some slack
They got an apology. I thought their complaint there was fair enough as it was a matter of fact. Rodri did handball it and there was no legitimate reason not to give a penalty.
The Gordon shout is desperate stuff. If awarded it would have been the softest of soft penalties. In this case it’s a subjective decision and the explanation is obvious. In the opinion of the ref it wasn’t a penalty and there was nothing clear and obvious from the video footage to overturn it. This is all about deflecting from the position they are in and influencing future decisions involving Everton. Also, indirectly, having a pop at Liverpool and the perceived favoritism from referees. Lampard’s not a good manager but he’s good at knowing what Blueshite buttons to push.
Yep…desperate means…desperate measures…
