Didn’t watch the whole game but saw that Pickford had some amazing saves/moments today.
He did, yes. One brilliant save, then saved one with his face just after.
Lucky to get all points, Everton. They mobilised everything they had here, but I thought Chelsea created enough to at least get a draw.

Seemingly as a praise, Peter Drury commented today that there is nowhere in football more angry than goodison park when it’s angry. Yes, Peter That’s kind of the point and it isnt the positive you think it is.
Today puts their position into perspective. A massive effort from players and fans alike, and at the end of the day they are still in the bottom 3. The win was needed to make the gap manageable, but are they going to be able to rouse themselves like that again?

I hope they don’t, I hope they sink into obscurity (and mediocrity but they’ve got that part covered already).
The only thing is Leeds also take on that Chelsea side just before the cup final. Next week they can move out of the bottom three but will their away form show up.
