I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

The way I see it, we can beat them twice a season even without him. He’s better off not sullying himself by any further association with the Ev.

Oh, I can.

God, is this the worst person in the prem? Herrera used to get me irrationally angry whenever I watched him play with all his fucking antics. This guys seems to have taken his place.

I suppose my defence of Everton’s fans celebrating this comes back to my overall view of football - and that is that you don’t have to be the best team to enjoy it or celebrate it.

Only one team can win each trophy. If being happy about anything other than collecting a cup is embarrassing then we may as well fold every club below the top 4.

I remember feeling immensely proud and happy after we drew 4-4 at Stamford Bridge and were eliminated from the CL. I feel sorry for people who can only find joy from victory.

Same, poor sods haven’t had anything to celebrate all their lives, but I cannot understand the need for the aggression towards Vieira.

Probably makes more sense to celebrate avoiding relegation than it does drawing 2-2 with West Brom, yet our players did it as if they’d won a cup, and it was glorious as it felt like the players were really there for each other and for the fans. It boosted the club and we never looked back.

I have no problem with the Everton celebrations, especially since it means they’ll definitely be sticking with Lampard as he’s now the hero who saved them.

Some highlights dvd they’ll manage to get out this summer… Some great moments featured…

  1. Winning the last summer transfer window
  2. Hiring fat Frank to be their saviour and take them from 16th to 16th
  3. Letting off fireworks at 4am outside the Brentford hotel and then getting spanked in the morning
  4. A woman in her 50s trying to slap a Palace player on the arse
  5. A pitch invasion resulting in a fan being leg sweeped by Viera

#4 btw

Very good points. Viewing the Sunderland TV series, was a nice illustration of the small victories after massive losses coping which non-high level side supporters must experience annually.

I can only imagine the pitch invasion, should Sunderland actually return to the lofty heights of Championship this playoff run.

That’s common assault, ban the old witch. And see the charming young lad, telling the Palace player to fuck off? I take it that was the family enclosure?
