The only good thing to come out of the Blueshite staying up is now they won’t set Rafa’s house on fire…!
They will turn on Lampard next season when they stay in the bottom 3
Ah something to look forward to. And we know it will happen.
They sooo desperate for a saviour eh… Pathetic
What was that Bonny Tyler song called again :0)
I agree. This mockery and pearl-clutching is another symptom of the gentrification of the game.
Enjoyed Viera decking the wee blueshite, though.
Oh this is the best part of the whole thing no doubt. They’ll think of him as a hero now but come the 3rd minute of the first game of next season we will hear that famous Goodison Groan.
You think he’ll last that long?

What an absolute twat
I don’t care them celebrating but I can take the piss in the way they are treating it as some underdog story and the fact they sent death threats to Rafa.
Ban all the f***ckers from games…go back to Covid systems…no fans for the Bitters…
Reports circulating that Burnley and Leeds both intend to report P/L and Bitters over FFP as they have posts £370M losses.
I guess they are both shitting themselves over the prospect of relegation and think if Everton are guilty, they could get hit with a points deduction saving both of them
@jaffod interesting conundrum for you: Everton get relegated after being hit with a points deduction, because the FA has an anti-Liverpool (as in the city) bias and uses FFP to relegate them.
Would you take it?
Would love it if the Premier League then announce that they’re getting relegated anyway.
From the article.
League profitability and sustainability rules allow for losses of £105m over a three-year period.
But Everton say that Covid-19 losses over the past two seasons amount to £170m.
That figure has caused surprise among some Premier League teams because it dwarfs clubs of a similar size.
Earlier this week, Newcastle posted Covid-19 losses of £40m over the past two seasons, while Aston Villa said theirs amounted to £56m.
Anyone believe them? They lost £372m over 3 years
I think any sanction hits them next season. Teams don’t usually come back from that even it’s 9 points considering they are skint. Classic case of a team that hasn’t money and has overspent.
I’m sure Leeds and Burnley will argue differently. And to be fair, they have a point.
I’m lost ?

Nah i wasn’t arguing that they don’t deserve a punishment.
Any point deduction has to be retrospective. It’s unfair for a FFP cheat to stay up at the expense of two clubs who have managed to spend within their means.
