I saw McNeil play a few games as a CM a few years ago and thought he looked pretty impressive there.

Didn’t he have some games where he did well at full back too? I think this could work out to be one of their better signings in recent years.

Chelsea fans on twitter talking about Everton being in for Batshuayi and Barkley. Don’t know how true any of this is but there would be a certain logic to these deals happening I guess.

McNeill has started well.
McNeil is a decent player. Everyone will point to his stats from last season but he will be a decent signing for Everton, much better than the rubbish they’ve signed over the last 10 years.

Mina sells out his keeper with an awful pass. Pickford charges out of his goal to save it and makes it worse, giving it straight to a Chelsea player and hen being way out of position. One of the other CBs comes flying into a tackle and is now being stretched off the pitch after 10 minutes of the season.
Oh, and the ball was already a good foot over the line for a corner anyway.
