That looked pretty comfortable for Chelsea, good control without having to do too much. Maybe a little alarming for Everton they couldn’t do better than that at home on opening day, even though they were up against a much better team.

Can somebody explain to me how these cunts are still allowed to spend money like it’s going out of fashion, given their massive overspend over the last few seasons?
Tarkowski, McNeill and Vinagre already in, apparently they’re close to spending 30 odd million on some lad from Lille and are being linked with Gueye and Coady. I know they got money from Spurs for that fucking vile cheat but surely there must be some sort of restriction on their never-ending spending?

Wolves are pretty good though. Good manager, play good football. Everton don’t have any of that, they’re just a bit dreadful.
Wolves fans don’t rate Coady according to some twitter fellas. Don’t watch Wolves enough to know if he suits then. Probably will be Everton’s best defender

And I was just wondering yesterday what would happen with Coady, since I saw Wolves starting in a 4 at the back for the first time in a long while…
So it seems like Lamps is definitely going with 3 at the back, then. But Everton desperately need a midfielder in my opinion and possibly some help of another striker, too.
He was crucial to them when they played with a back 3, but with Bruno Lage wanting to go with a back 4, he seems the likely one to go as it doesn’t suit him
