Not sure we needed Agent Coady to get Fat Fwank sacked but now it’s a sure thing.
Coady was a proper cunt when we played Wolves end of last season, I remember him pulling a injured player back on the pitch to stop us bombarding their keeper among other things.

Plus the blatant dive to try and win a penalty at Anfield in one of the behind-closed-doors games.
He’s been happy to play for a club who’s supporters are amongst the worst when it comes to anti-Liverpool bile and that in my opinion makes him a complete and utter brainless cunt. A bit like Wayne Rooney. He’ll actually fit in well with all the other scumbags across the park.

I don’t really care that he plays for a club with fans like that (most of the PL sing that shit), his antics on the pitch is what marks it out for me and that dive was a joke.

Personally, I have a problem with players who are life long Liverpool fans, playing for Everton and wearing that fucking blue shirt. (His family are also season ticket holders at Anfield). But that’s just me.

Coady was always a great representative for Liverpool in the youth sides so I won’t join in the pile on here, I like him.
But he’s not a good defender for a back 4. It’s a bit of a mad signing, maybe a slight improvement but that’s it.

In that game he also made a defensive header with nobody close to him then went to ground holding his head so the ref had to stop the game. The ref was correct in stopping play for a head injury but, I’ve referenced this in other threads. If a player goes down with a head injury then IMO they should be made to leave the pitch for a minimum of ten minutes. Players are taking advantage of the fact that games have to stop for a head injury. I think the Ev need to be looking for a goal scorer above anything else. They just look so blunt up top.

The only downside to the ten minutes thingy, is that players may go out to ‘headbutt’ opponents on purpose to get them onto the side lines for 10mins :0)
The referees need to wise up… and maybe make every head injury stoppage subject to a VAR check…
No contact equals yellow card straight away… or something like that

Just dont understand, how Wolves can loan their captain? Is it a personal decision from Coady?
Only reason I can think of is Lage has been desperate to move from a back 3 to a back 4 which Coady is not comfortable playing, so has become someone they probably don’t need.
Everton are fucked with FFP, and wouldn’t have been able to sign him permanently so a loan makes sense for all parties. Plus Coady has the get out card when they go down that he can return to Wolves.

Coady is a lovely lad, great to see someone leave our academy and go on to captain another PL side. That doesn’t happen often.
He’s a specialist CB in the extreme though. He plays in a 3 and that 3 has to play a certain way. If it does he’s just about PL quality.
I fear for him if Everton try to use him in a back 4. In fact I don’t even think it will work in a 3… Keane, Coady, Tarkowski? That has to be the slowest defence I’ve seen in many years.

It’s fucking madness. I’m really trying to fathom why they feel they need so many players. They have no European football and generally get knocked out of the cups within a couple of rounds.
They have 6 centre-backs - Mina, Keane, Holgate, Coady, Tarkovski and Godfrey.
They have 9, fucking 9, centre-mids if they sign Gueye which seems likely - Allan, Doucoure, Onama, Davies, Gomes, Iwobi, Gueye, Gbamin and Alli.
Throw in Coleman, Patterson, Myelenko, Vinagre, Gray, Townsend, Mcneil, Gordon, Rondon and DCL and I make that 25 players.
The whole squad is packed with fucking dross all earning decent wedge for very little return. They may try and offload a few this window but they’ll get buttons for them.
How is this sustainable for a club with no European football, very limited commercial, sponsorship and match-day income while at the same time building a new stadium costing over half a billion quid?
None of it adds up or makes any sense.
