I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

Those hot dog sellers used to be outside Anfield as well on match days. Absolutely disgusting.

Saw that earlier - my guess is that his termination payments have not been made. Not huge sums, but not trivial either. I do wonder why he would be entitled to any though, he walked out.

The last couple of paragraphs have some shocking points about Everton’s finances. The bridging loan is secured against the stadium (not unusual), but is clearly meant to be very temporary (i.e. interest rate is probably nasty). The current investment under discussion would see Moshiri no longer being the majority owner (currently 94%) but all of that will presumably be share issuance - because he will see no proceeds.

It’s got separate entity owning the stadium written all over it and that is not a place you ever want to go.

I have an increasing sense that Everton are in much more serious trouble than they have been letting on - had they been relegated, probably outright collapse at this point. That stadium is becoming a millstone, that bridging loan has to be at least 10% interest, likely more.

Have to wonder when Kenwright resigns.

Imagine their tragic bunch coming together to choose the least shit player.

They’re too busy hounding their board out, so they mighta’ just spun a bottle and picked the name in landed on.

Remember iwobi when he scored , quite frankly a brilliant goal against us when he was playing for arsenal. That was the game when Sadio debuted i believe in Anfield.

Some brilliant goals from both sides… And where we won rather comfortably at the end…

Looks like bitters punted on iwobi because he fluked a goal against us. One goal which he never looked to even repeat against.

Is that Dixie Dean, even he looks miffed being photographed next to the current crop.

I might have got my timelines or players wrong but this was , I do believe the match before Ox joined us and Sadio literally announced himself

Just checked , it was Ox who scored that really good goal…

Liverpool 4-3 Arsenal match , not comfortable winners but yeah
