I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

There’s only a couple of starters for Southamptonnin that team.

Most of them would be meaningless passes seeing as how they’ve struggled to score goals.

Aye possibly, only watched them against Utd so I don’t know if it was the same against Everton. 75% and 1 goal against a fellow relegation side isn’t brilliant.

Maybe it’s just me but they look stronger on paper than what Luton or Sheffield were last season.

What it does show is that Everton were not fighting for the ball enough. That shows a lack of general fight in the team. If that’s the case , then Dyche has lost the dressing room.

It’s Tuesday and your in a dire run I would sort of play a stronger squad than that against a fellow Championship (is that right) side.

For a second there I thought Dyche had been sacked as when the tweet eventually loaded, the Everton corner flag took up the entire screen.

So looks like Everton are to become a feeder club for Roma…

The Friedkin group is rich and seem to have a level head on their shoulders but they aren’t going to be turning Everton over quickly.

Impossible though on how Everton fluke themselves into getting a respectable owner after offering themselves to the likes of 777 and Textor.

They just fired club legend De Rossi after 4 games, a run including only 1 loss, and now are in crisis talks over the fan revolt to the decision

Should fit right in at Goodison.

It’s almost like being close to relegation for a few years in a row, only for three worse teams to emerge at the right time every season. Oh, wait…

Its always tough for new owners to change things up when legends are involved. We had with with Kenny. However, without knowing the ownership group or owners, if they’ve come in and De Rossi doesn’t align with the
vision, direction of travel or strategy, then its best to get it sorted sooner rafher than later.

He was hired by them half way through last season and did an impressive enough job that they gave him a 4 year extension in the summer. And then fired him after 4 games.

Think DeRossi came and did a decent job after replacing Mou. The lesson to give clubs is to not give permanent contracts to interim managers. Solksjaer all over again.

Yes, was going to edit it to included if things change, which they must have done. Must be more to it that simply 4 results have gone against Roma and the owners have lost their heads.

Since this is the Everton thread and they are looking likely to be next owners of Everton, I would love it if there really was nothing more to it. Long may they be Watford, or worse.
