I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

These are getting more deranged by the minute.

Apparently we are all fuming about BMD. Our heads are falling off all over the place.

I genuinely don’t know one Red who gives a shit.

I’d have been fucking devastated if we’d ever left Anfield. Especially to go to a new stadium built in an area that is totally unsuitable to accomodate 50000+ people.

Like everything else the reality is lost to them in their insane, demented desire to get one over on ‘the redshite’.

What…is BMD?

Bramley Moore Dock, their new stadium

Oh. Not much fume here. Always sad to see an old stadium with real history get replaced with a sterile new one, but they should not have much trouble moving the silverware.

They should have plenty of trouble as try as they might, they couldn’t find any to move.

The comments

They really hate us don’t they :0)

Poor things. It must be so painful watching us having so much success, while they dream of winning a point at home.

Hope might be in sight.
The beginning of the end of their sufferings could come soon.
The Great Moysiah - quilding them undefeated in their last 9 PL matches - is already on his way to parting the Red Sea…

…to their promised Blue Land of plenty.

Otoh, it could be just a mirage.

They don’t want that anyhow as they will want to roll over for Arsenal.

Just seen a picture of the Bitters new home…why are the bricks on the facade red…you would think they would pick blue slate or a blueish colour…has someone ordered the wrong bricks…

Had a look at their contract situation…

2025: Virginia, Begovic, Keane, Holgate (on loan at WBA), Young, Coleman, Mangala (on loan from Lyon), Gueye, Alcaraz (on loan from Flamengo, option to buy), Doucoure, Lindstrom (on loan from Napoli, option to buy), Harrison (on loan from Leeds), Calvert-Lewin, Broja (on loan from Chelsea, option to buy).

2026: Tarkowski, Mykolenko, Garner, Maupay (on loan at Marseille, option to buy).

2027: Pickford, Branthwaite, Patterson, Iroegbunam, McNeil, Beto, Chermiti.

2028: O’Brien.

2029: Ndiaye.

… and it looks like they have a lot of things to solve this summer, there might be a shortage of players for the start of pre-season!

I think West Ham were in such situation, I think two years ago.

But what is helpful at least is that Moyes has brought back solidity, they’re moving to their new ground and will look to build a new squad.

Hope they get relegated next season

Nah. I’d rather see both Manchester clubs relegated first.

Liverpool > Manchester.

(Waits for @Rambler and @jaffod to denigrate their home town)

Three teams are relegated…
Both Manc clubs and Everton?

Nope. Both Manc clubs and Newcastle.

I used to say Chelsea, but the Saudis are even worse.

Ok
I’d go with that to be fair.

Not me. I would never want to see Everton relegated. My city comes first for me. Always.

I saw my first derby game in 1962 and they are part of the lifeblood of this city. I can understand wools and plastics not caring though. :winking_face_with_tongue:

I agree, also don’t want to see them relegated.
