I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

For most of my life I had no hatred of Everton as long as the finished below us on the ladder and didn’t beat us in derbies.
Hillsborough has always stuck in my mind but as time passed that became a high point in my attitude to them.
But due almost entirely to what is probably a minority of their supporters in recent years and some pretty ordinary events on the park,my attitude has changed a bit.
In my working life I sailed with many Evertonians and they were all fine.
But times have changed as have their supporters, but again I believe the aresholes are are a minority.

With regards to the blueshite rehiring Gollum, according to the Athletic via the Express:

However, the Athletic are reporting that Moyes is happy with his current job at West Ham, despite his contract expiring at the end of June.

It comes to something, when even an out of contract Sméagol doesn’t want to know.

Surely that’s going be renewed soon.

I think there was a clause in his contract that if a bigger club came calling he would take it?

The blonde on blonde one on the right who after he became the leader of the Gwladys Street Hells Angels chapter, died in a crash and his soul transferred into me. We share the same name, coincidentally.

The problem the Blueshite have as I see it, is that it would be difficult to appoint a manager that is of similar age to Ferguson…
Being that he must be champing at the bit to be given the vote of confidence himself.
So unless they appoint some approved father figure and keep Ferguson in the role he has, what a massive kick in the ‘town halls’ if he is overlooked for someone like Roberto Martinez for eg, who is actually 18months younger.
With the recent trend for hiring Fat Frank and Wayne Rooney’s of this world, maybe the Blueshite will bite the bullet and finally give Ferguson an opportunity… he is after all, one of their own.!
God help our guys at the first derby game if they do…!!!

I agree with your last line he is the chief architect for masterminding those leg breaking tackles!

Wow! I suppose they did hugely contribute towards all their recent successes so well worth the 100m write-off…:rofl:

And that £103.7m doesn’t include wages.

With hindsight it’s almost possible that they didn’t win all those transfer windows!

We should buy three from that list and sell them immediately for £50m,

I wonder if we took 7 players in the last 7 years how close we could get to that?

Can, Wijnaldum, Markovic, Lallana, Balotelli - that’s £100m for no return. So that’s just 5 players and we’re in the same negative territory. If we were to sell Keita this summer it would be for a big loss.

Well they won the league title in October, we know they like to celebrate prematurely.

They will find something to blame us for this too.

Gini and Lallana are both UCL winners though. The Ev players won the sum total of sweet FA between them.
