Baines has retired.
From what I can tell their second LB is a kid they signed from Marseilles who played not a single senior game for them, or Fabien Delph.

Actually, no, he retired at the end of last season.
I’ve even looked at their squad list and am none the wiser.
The only explanation that makes sense is that when they say “we”, they actually mean “the city of Liverpool”.
In that regard I’ve just spent some time putting together a combined Liverpool and Everton first team squad. Spent some time on it to make it look professional and even sorted out a Web page for it. Hopefully it looks alright.
Here it is.
Digne’s been one of their better signings in that whole mess in last years. Nkounkou was picked up on a free from Marseille as a younger player without much experience. Coleman and Kenny so far at RB. It looks like good balance in full back areas. It’s at CB where they need more quality and depth.
What is he complaining about, he made the fault, nobody else.
Time to wheel out this old favourite again:
KFC ?,surely that’s a typo and it’s supposed to be CFK,Crap Fucking Keeper.
Okay, I didn’t get the pun about KFC
He can’t lick his fingers after eating KFC,must be very messy and annoying.
Because his hands are too short??? Howling
Joey Barton made me laugh after the game lastnight,i can’t remember the exact words but he basically said that Everton had such a strong squad, that the depth was so good that they could field the strong team lastnight and leave players out like…like…hmm James and…yeah they have a strong squad, they played their 1st team, maybe switched one or 2 players around off the bench but James was the only player not on the team sheet at all.
There’s a bit of a wankfest going on about these at the moment. Every man and his dog creaming themselves silly.
I dunno. Imagine them finishing 6th or 7th and them classing it as a succesful season.
I like Carlo and the way he plays his football. Thank fuck he’s too old now to build dynasties etc etc. Finishing 5th with Everton should be counted as an overachievement for them. Hope Carlo gets that and gets on a nice national team where I can admire his style of play much more easily.
Everton just have to hope fans are kept out of the stadium as long as possible. They can have a decent run if the play without a crowd. As soon as the fans are allowed in, they’ll destroy this team like they have all the others.
He did eight years at AC Milan and since then has never stayed anywhere longer than two years - its not that he can’t build a squad, its that he doesnt want to.
I’m kinda happy that they chose Ancelotti. If had chosen someone like Diego Simeone who could have instilled some steel in them, that would have been worrying.
I think Everton might be like Leicester last season, I don’t think they will collapse but they didn’t get a decent result today, however there start has been pretty easy.
