No worries
It’s not the first thing people think of when they see a news report. Different counties also have different rules.
Social media sites need to be a bit careful when comes to things like this.

Soooooo quick change of subject needed….
Remember that time when Everton won the league in October…
Good times
Miami Vice with a Gok Wan twist maybe?
I know they say stuff comes around but …
Just to be clear the reason for asking that the situation regarding an unnamed Everton player be not discussed here are follows.
It’s an incredibly serious accusation, and comments on this run the risk of being libellous, and we can’t allow this site, or you, to be exposed to that.
It’s a live criminal investigation, and we do not want to do anything that will impair that process. In these case especially, there is the risk that cases collapse if it can be argued that defendants can’t get a fair trial (because a jury will be influenced by comments in the media, and online).
This thread primarily exists for banter around our nearest and dearest. This just isn’t a banter topic.
I know Rafa has always had a soft spot for Demarai Gray but really surprised they are making that move, even at £1.5m. Andros Townsend makes a bit more sense to me even though he’s pretty limited he does give you a potential game winner from the bench - Gray I’m just not sure what he adds.
I would have thought Gray helps Rafa give the squad shape. If he is only costing £1.5m that’s a cheap price for reasonable player whom he might be able to get a bit more out of, or replace later on as the team takes shape. Presumably wages arent high either, and Everton over the past few seasons have been spending a lot on both fees and wages often for players that aren’t delivering either…
They’ve regressed as well.
Looking at their current squad I don’t really see any genuine wide players, most of their attacking players are more comfortable in central areas. Can understand the moves for two players of that ilk to give them more width, DCL is fantastic in the air and supplying him with quality crosses from wide is probably the best way to get him scoring.
What I find a bit bemusing is the two they’ve gone for, neither would exactly fill you with excitement. Townsend is obviously a known entity by now, experienced but pretty one dimensional and without that bit of pace he used to have. Gray I don’t really have many lasting impressions of about his time at Leicester, definitely quick and capable of beating a man but I don’t recall him having a reputation for being able to deliver quality into the box. Just seemed like your average, run of the mill English winger. I suppose at £1.5m it’s worth a bit of a punt.
I think the price is probably what is driving it. 1.5m for a player who does have some potential but has lost his way is pretty good business.
Saving the cash for a central midfielder
Someone needs to tell Rafa this is not how you win the transfer window. Standards needs to be maintained.
Andros Townsend confirmed.
And just to be clear, we mean confirmed as a new signing…not the other bit
Yeah, new signing, two-year deal.
Maybe they are skint, with Uncle Joe Anderson facing criminal charges.
Townsend is a decent player but he’s never exactly set the world on fire. 16 goals in 185 appearances for Palace! I mean, WOW!! And Begovich is a keeper who was released by Bournemouth. Totally underwhelming signings.
Rafa is a man who went and bought Jermaine Pennant and played him the entire game in a CL final. He loves a mediocre wide man.
reira, nunez(extenuating circumstances aside), zenden, the chilean we all got excited about…
and of course, kuyt was no heighway, legend, but still…
